Braden Gearmatic BG4 Hydraulic Planetary Winch

The BG4 Series Planetary winch is a high performance product designed to provide many years of service. The BG4 is powered by a high efficiency motor designed specifically for winch applications to provide smooth operation. Motor torque is transmitted and multiplied by the highly efficient computer-aided designed gear train to the winch drum. All rotating components are supported by anti-friction bearings and run in oil to minimize friction losses. Load control when lowering is maintained by the brake valve to provide smooth reliable performance. The brake valve not only provides smooth load control, but adapts well to most any hydraulic system. The brake valve is also backed up by a spring applied, hydraulically released safety brake. The safety brake is an internal multi disc unit whose operation is completely automatic. The load is held firm, even if the engine stalls or a hydraulic line breaks.

Braden Gearmatic BG6 Hydraulic Planetary Winch

The BG6 Series Planetary winch is a high performance product designed to provide many years of service. The BG6 is powered by a high efficiency gear motor designed specifically for winch applications to provide smooth operations. The motor torque is then transmitted and multiplied by the highly efficient computer-aided designed gear train to the winch drum. All rotating components are supported by anti-friction bearings and run in oil to minimize any friction losses. Load control when lowering is maintained by the brake valve to provide smooth performance. The brake valve not only provides smooth load control but also adapts well to most any hydraulic system. The brake valve is also backed up by an internal automatic multi-disc spring applied hydraulic release safety brake. An over-running clutch permits free rotation through the brake in the hoisting direction but immediately locks up when the hoisting operation is complete. The load is held firm,, even if the engine dies or a hydraulic line breaks.

The BG8A Series planetary winch is a second generation evolution of the Braden PD7A and Gearmatic GH7 winches. Improvements to the gear train and drum sealing have resulted in the grater line pulls on equal speed models and improved reliability for the entire series.

The BG8A is powered by a high efficiency gear motor designed specifically for winch applications to provide smooth operation. All rotating components are supported by anti-friction bearings and run in oil to minimize frictional losses. Load control when lowering or paying-out cable is maintained by the Braden brake valve known for its smooth operation. The brake valve not only provides smooth load control, but also adapts well to most hydraulic systems.
